 The product of consultation with endusers, gas and electrical installers, maintenance personnel and governing agencies, the bed head unit BTL900 satisfies all the requirements of the hospital. Combining comfort and efficiency for patient and staff with the observance of safety and hygiene standards. The modular arrangement of the services allows complete flexibility of the electrical and gas fittings so that they can be arranged, fixed or removed easily. DESIGN AND COMFORT • The special housing is designed to provide a smooth contour with a minimum of sharp edges. • Easy access to electrical sockets located on a sloping panel (well fitting easily accessible plugs.) • Completely integrated efficient lighting designed to maximise reflection without dazzle. • Finished in white epoxy paint (superior quality epoxy powder coating RAL 9016). Other colours or finishes upon request. FLEXIBILITY AND MAINTENANCE • The electrical, medical gas and lighting equipment are completely modular which allows the components to be extended, moved, re-moved or maintained without cutting the housing. • Easy lighting maintenance by allowing a quick removal of battens. • Total access to medical gas outlets and pipes without disconnecting the electrical network. HYGIENE AND SAFETY • Smooth surface and curves avoiding any accumulation of dust and germs (better hygiene) • Flat and smooth strip lighting top allows safe and easy cleaning. • Total segregation of medical gas and electrical compartments (EN 793 Norm) • Each product complying with all international standards (medical CE certified). The bed head unit BTL900 is built around a special profiled aluminium section, which provides a rigidity of the unit for mounting on imperfect walls. The special profile and high quality manufacturing of the unit ensures a long life even in high usage areas. Modular concept (using the modular system technique used in offices) allowing electric or medical gas equipment to be supplemented or modified without involving the manufacturer. Can be quickly installed without being dismantled. MEDICAL GAS SUPPLY • Individual compartment and cover insulated from electric components. • Modular system for all brands of medical gas outlets. Stainless steel mounting brackets. Rounded design polycarbonate box with cover. Possible use of the manufacturer's gas covers. • Ability to extend without tooling the cover. • Fully compatible system for new deeper European outlets. • Efficient and invisible ventilation. LIGHTING EQUIPMENT • The general up lighting can span the full length either a 58w / 150 cm or 36w / 120 cm fluorescent tube. • Optional : integrated night light (incandescent 10w / 230Vor fluo-compact). • The 18w direct lighting for examination and reading gives an average lighting of 200 lux over the whole of the bed. • Unbreakable polycarbonate diffusers with a double prism (850° incandescent wire proof). • The reflecting plates can be easily removed for maintenance and cleaning. Use of all fluorescent tubes. Conventional or high frequency equipment. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT • Full segregation between LV and ELV services and separate cover. Individual insulation by plastic box for each accessory. • Electrical socket with decorative finger plate cover. • Modular system by clipping components in the trunking profiled rail. • Components can be placed or removed without alterations to the trunking or covers.
