On hospital technical wards, movable arm is adapted for raising the full system head to different positions for a maximum clearance around the bed (equipment, electricity and gases).Ergomed pendants range are made of a robust double arm with a head for equipment. All configuration can be adapted to physicians requirements. Original concept of "universal" head with all components and accessories also adapted to vertical wall mounted systems (page 8 to 18). TECHNICAL LAY OUTS Our hospital project experience with our computer systems are the key for studying and optimising the best technical solutions. EQUIPMENT ON HEAD The head of the unique concept is made of 2 aluminium thick profiles (4 separate compartments) offering total modularity by a clipping cover technique (on 900 mm height). • Orientable sur 330° • Horizontal rotation 330° • Up to 20 electrical sockets (230V, data…) and up to 12 medical gas outlets. • At 65 cm from ground the highest gas point will be at 1m50 maximum. Position on vertical axis allows a better segregation between "clean" (oxygen, nitrous oxide) and "dirty" (vacuum) parts. • 2 or 4 stainless steel tubes (Ø 30 mm - height 1000 mm) offering a direct clamping of all kind of biomedical equipment onto it (shelves, rails… page 18) • direct connection to outlets for oxygenotherapy equipment (if less than 9 outlets on head) • support tubes are designed for cable and tubing location.
